Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter (room temperature)
- 2 - eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- TOPPING
- 2/3 cup light brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 package semi-sweet chocolate chips (keep separate)
How To Make aunt janette's top hat cake

Step 1Combine all ingredients for the topping except for the chocolate morsels. Put aside.

Step 2Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, sour cream and vanilla. Add flour baking powder, baking soda and salt.

Step 3Grease and flour 9 x 12 pan. Pour half of batter (which will be very thick).

Step 4Sprinkle half of topping mixture and half of chocolate morsels on top. Top with remaining batter and smooth out over chocolate morsels. Sprinkle remaining topping and chocolate morsels.

Step 5Bake in 350 degree oven for 40-45 minutes.
