I don't make this very often, but when I do, there is never any left. Very light and satisfying. A gourmet dessert that you can make at home.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium pound cake, like saralee
  • 1 1/2 cups strong brewed coffee
  • 2 packages cream cheese, 8oz (room temperature)
  • 1/2 stick butter or marg. (softened)
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup chocolate syrup
  • 1 medium container of cool whip
  • 4 medium toffee bars ( finely chopped )

How To Make toffee tiramasu

  • Step 1
    Slice poundcake into nine slices, and layer in a large glass dish or baking pan
  • Step 2
    Sprinkle with coffee
  • Step 3
    Beat with electric mixer, the cream cheese, butter, sugar and chocolate syrup. Spread on top of cake.
  • Step 4
    Spread Coolwhip on top of cake and sprinkle with toffee candy Refrigerate for several hours before serving.
