I don't make this very often, but when I do, there is never any left. Very light and satisfying. A gourmet dessert that you can make at home.

Ingredients For toffee tiramasu

  • 1 md
    pound cake, like saralee
  • 1 1/2 c
    strong brewed coffee
  • 2 pkg
    cream cheese, 8oz (room temperature)
  • 1/2 stick
    butter or marg. (softened)
  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 1 c
    chocolate syrup
  • 1 md
    container of cool whip
  • 4 md
    toffee bars ( finely chopped )

How To Make toffee tiramasu

  • 1
    Slice poundcake into nine slices, and layer in a large glass dish or baking pan
  • 2
    Sprinkle with coffee
  • 3
    Beat with electric mixer, the cream cheese, butter, sugar and chocolate syrup. Spread on top of cake.

    Spread Coolwhip on top of cake and sprinkle with toffee candy Refrigerate for several hours before serving.
