I don't make this very often, but when I do, there is never any left. Very light and satisfying. A gourmet dessert that you can make at home.

Ingredients

1 medium
pound cake, like saralee
1 1/2 c
strong brewed coffee
2 pkg
cream cheese, 8oz (room temperature)
1/2 stick
butter or marg. (softened)
2 c
sugar
1 c
chocolate syrup
1 medium
container of cool whip
4 medium
toffee bars ( finely chopped )

How to Make Toffee Tiramasu

Step-by-Step

  • 1Slice poundcake into nine slices, and layer in a large glass dish or baking pan
  • 2Sprinkle with coffee
  • 3Beat with electric mixer, the cream cheese, butter, sugar and chocolate syrup. Spread on top of cake.
  • 4Spread Coolwhip on top of cake and sprinkle with toffee candy Refrigerate for several hours before serving.
