    pound cake, stale
  • 3 Tbsp
    jam, any flavor
  • ·
  • 5 oz
  • 1 pt
    warm custard
  • 10 oz
    whipped topping

How to Make Tipsy Cake


  1. Break up the cake or cakes and gently mix the jam through -- the mixture does not have to be completely even.
  2. Place in a glass bowl.
  3. Mix sherry and whiskey and sprinkle over cake.
  4. Press down lightly.
  5. Pour custard over the cake, and chill.
  6. Then spoon whipped cream over top and serve.
