Ingredients
- 1 pound pound cake, stale
- 3 tablespoons jam, any flavor

- 5 ounces sherry
- 1 pint warm custard
- 10 ounces whipped topping
How To Make tipsy cake

Step 1Break up the cake or cakes and gently mix the jam through -- the mixture does not have to be completely even.

Step 2Place in a glass bowl.

Step 3Mix sherry and whiskey and sprinkle over cake.

Step 4Press down lightly.

Step 5Pour custard over the cake, and chill.

Step 6Then spoon whipped cream over top and serve.
