Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 stick butter, softened
- 2 - eggs
- 3/4 cup flour
- 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
- 1 cup coconut
- FROSTING
- 24 large marshmallows or 2 1/4 cups mini
- 2 cups confectioners' sugar
- 1/4 cup softened, butter
- 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 4 1/2 tablespoons cream
How To Make ~ those glorious brownies ~
-
Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degree F. Spray an 8 x 12 x 2 baking pan with non stick cooking spray - I use bakers joy. I also used a deep dish 9 inch pie plate, which when I make again I'll be sure to use the 8 x 12 as the frosting didn't have room to spread. My fault for changing...lol Cream sugar and butter, add the egg and mix well. Sift the flour and cocoa and add to the sugar mixture and beat until smooth.
-
Step 2Stir in the nuts and coconut. Spread into prepared pan and bake for 20 - 25 minutes or until pick comes out clean.
-
Step 3Spread marshmallows over cake, then spread frosting over marshmallows. Place back into oven and bake another 3 - 4 minutes.
-
Step 4Spread icing with marshmallows, they don't have to be completely melted. Cool in pan and serve.
