How To Make the world's best double chocolate brownies
-
Step 1Beat together eggs and sugar until mixture is light and fluffy, about 5 minutes. Beat in melted chocolates and butter. Beat in flour and baking powder. Stir in walnuts and optional chocolate chips. Spread mixture evenly into a greased 10 inch springform pan and bake in a 350 oven for 32 minutes. Do not overbake. Allow to cool in pan. Cut into small wedges to serve. Serves 10 to 12 Note: Chocolates and butter can be melted together in the top of a double boiler over hot, not simmering water. Brownies are difficult to test. Top should appear dry and a cake tester, inserted 1 1/2 inches off center, should be almost clean. 32 minutes was the perfect time for my oven. however, as oven temperatures vary. watch carefully when you bake these for the first time. Basically, brownies are best made with lots of chocolate and little flour. These are by far my best (for my taste) exceedingly chocolaty and delicious beyond description. They appeal to all my senses and are my favorites to date. Source: Renny Darling
