When I first starting making this cake I was making 2 a week. My son's girlfriend request this cake with peanut butter icing for every visit:) I will follow with the peanut butter icing recipe.

Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup oil
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup boiling water
How To Make the moistest chocolate "katie" cake ever

Step 1Preheat oven 300 degrees, grease and flour 13x9 baking pan

Step 2mix all dry ingredients in one bowl

Step 3add eggs, buttermilk,vanilla, and oil to dry ingredients mix well about 2 minutes

Step 4add boiling water mix until smooth

Step 5pour into prepared cake pan and bake for 1 hour

Step 6I always check this cake with a toothpick, when comes it out clean it's done. I have found depending on the weather you may need to bake a little longer up to 10 minutes. just keep checking it. ENJOY.....
