    1 box. deluxe yellow cake mix, 18 oz
  • ·
    1 pkg. vanilla instant pudding mix, 3 oz
  • ·
    1 cup vegetable oil
  • ·
    4 eggs
  • ·
    1 t. vanilla extract
  • ·
    1 cup sour cream
  • ·
    1/2 cup sugar
  • ·
    1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • ·
    1/2 cup margarine, melted, 1 stick
  • ·
    6 tbsp. flour
  • ·
    2 t. cinnamon

How to Make The Closet Coffee Cake

Step-by-Step

  1. Mix the cake mix, pudding mix, oil, eggs, vanilla and sour cream in a bowl. Beat
    with mixer at medium speed for 2 minutes. Pour half the batter into a greased
    and floured 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Mix sugar, brown sugar, melted margarine,
    flour and cinnamon in a bowl. Sprinkle half over batter in pan. Top with
    remaining batter and sprinkle with remaining sugar mixture. Bake at 350 for 45
    minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Remove to a
    wire rack to cool.
    Serves 15
