this is one of the best cakes ever my best friend gave me this recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 package yellow cake mix
  • 1 package instant lemon pudding mix
  • 1 can (16 oz) fruit cocktail in heavy syrup
  • 1 cup coconut, flaked
  • 4 medium eggs
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • FOR THE GLAZE
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • - vanilla extract, if desired

How To Make the best pudding cake

  • Step 1
    preheat oven to 325.
  • Step 2
    blend all cake ingredients except for brown sugar and nuts and beat 4 minutes with electric mixer at medium speed.
  • Step 3
    pour into a well greased 9x13 inch pan. sprinkle with brown sugar and nuts.
  • Step 4
    bake in a 325 oven about 45 minutes or tested done. cool 15 minutes.
  • Step 5
    meanwhile make glaze by combining glaze ingredients and boiling for 2 minutes. pour over warm cake.
