This cake is so moist and you can taste the butter in it. It taste like and old fashioned pound cake that grandma would make. For me I'm a big sweet fanatic so I also add cream cheese icing over the top for a melt in your mouth taste

  • 6 eggs large
    at room temperture
  • 4 stick
    butter room temputure
  • 3 c
  • 4 c
    cake flour
  • 3/4 c
  • 1 tsp
    1vanilla extract and 1 teaspoon of almond extract

How to Make The best pound cake yet


  1. Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy in your electric mixer
  2. Next add your eggs one at a time beating well after each addition be sure to scrape sides of bowl
  3. Next add cake flour and milk gradually alternating between the two mixing well scraping the sides of the.the bowl as well.stir in your vanilla and almond extract
