Ingredients
- 1 box deluxe devil's food cake mix
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup sorrento whole milk ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 - eggs
- CHOCOLATE FROSTING
- 12 ounces premium chocolate (make sure it's sweetened!)
- 1 cup sour cream at room temperature
How To Make the best chocolate cake ever!

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease bottom and sides of two 9X2 cake pans.

Step 2Mix all ingredients on low for 1 minute. Scrape bowl. Mix on medium for 2 minutes.

Step 3Divide batter between pans. Bake for 30-35 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes.

Step 4For frosting: Melt chocolate over simmering water until smooth. Let cool to room temperature. Whisk sour cream into melted chocolate. Frost cake.
