How to Make THE BEST Carrot Cake
1Heat oven to 350 degrees.
2Grease and flour 13x9x2 pan.
3Mix sugar, oil, eggs and vanilla until blended. Beat approximately 1 minute.
4Add flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Mix until dry ingredients are incorporated.
5Stir in carrots and nuts (optional).
6Bake approximately 35-45 minutes (until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean).
9Cream butter, cream cheese, vanilla and lemon extract until light and fluffy.
10Add powdered sugar slowly until all ingredients are incorporated.
11Frost cooled cake. Sprinkle with walnuts (optional)
