Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups butter
- 4 tablespoons cocoa
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 - eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- ICING
- 1 stick butter
- 6 tablespoons milk
- 4 tablespoons cocoa
- 16 ounces powdered sugar
- 1 cup chopped pecans, this is good without the nuts also.
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
How To Make texas sheet cake

Step 1In a bowl, sift together flour and sugar, set aside. In a saucepan, add the butter, cocoa and water; bring to a boil. Add to the flour mixture and stir well.

Step 2Add the baking soda to the buttermilk, and add to the mixture. Mix in eggs and vanilla. Make sure everything is well combined.

Step 3Pour into a sprayed 11 x 17 sheet pan. Bake at 400 degree for 20 minutes.

Step 4For frosting: Mix the first three ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and mix in the powdered sugar, vanilla and pecans. Spread over warm cake.

Step 5Yum!...I forgot how glossy the cake mix gets...with all that butter...don't be counting your calories with this baby...
