When I was little my mother made this all the time! It is still a favorite after all these years! If you love chocolate then this is a must try! Beware tho! You will find yourself nibbling on it all day!!

Ingredients
- 2 cups sifted flour
- 1 1/2 cups sour cream
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 - eggs
- 2 sticks margarine
- 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 cup water
How To Make texas sheet cake

Step 1In a bowl mix, flour, sour cream, salt, sugar, baking soda and eggs.

Step 2In a sauce pan bring to a boil the margarine ,cocoa, and the water

Step 3Add boiling mixture to the dry ingredients

Step 4Bake for 20 min in a 350 degree oven for 20 min

Step 5While your cake bakes make the icing : 1 box of powered sugar, 1 teaspoon of vanilla, 1 stick of margarine, 3 tablespoons cocoa ,6 tablespoons of milk, 1 cup of pecans ( optional )

Step 6In a bowl: mix powered sugar, vanilla,and pecans

Step 7In a sauce pan bring to boil margarine , milk and cocoa

Step 8Add boiling mixture to dry ingredients

Step 9Beat until smooth

Step 10Frost cake while still warm
