I got this recipe from a friend who used to make it for gatherings. I never made it but ate it every time she baked it!! DELISH!!!

Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar, minus 6 tblsp
- 2 cups flour
- 2 sticks butter, softened
- 4 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 2 - eggs, beaten
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- - icing ingredients
- 4 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 stick butter, softened
- 6 tablespoons milk
- 1 box powder sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup chopped pecans
How To Make texas sheet cake

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Step 2Sift together sugar & flour; set aside.

Step 3Mix in saucepan butter, cocoa & water. Bring to a rapid boil. Pour over sugar/flour mixture & mix well.

Step 4Add rest of ingredients to that mixture(except for icing ings.)

Step 5Pour into a 18x12 jelly roll pan. Bake for 25 mins.

Step 6Icing: Combine cocoa, butter & milk in saucepan. Bring to a rapid boil. Add powder sugar and mix well. Add vanilla & nuts. Spread over warm cake.
