THIS CAKE IS MOUTH WATERING AND TART.I MAKE THIS CAKE FOR MY FRIENDS AND CHURCH.

Ingredients

  • 1 box lemon cake mix
  • 3.4 OZ. boxes lemon instant pudding
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • GLAZE:
  • 1 cup white powdered sugar
  • 2 - lemon zest from 2 lemons
  • 2 - juice from 2 lemons

How To Make tart lemon pound cake

  • Step 1
    Mix sugar and lemon juice until creamy.
  • Step 2
    You may have to adjust according to how thick or thin you like it
  • Step 3
    Add zest and mix throughly.Set Glaze aside.
  • Step 4
    Preheat oven to 350.
  • Step 5
    Spray non stick spray in a bundt pan,or you can use a 9x5 loaf pan.
  • Step 6
    Combine cake ingredients in a large bowl.Beat at medium speed for 2 mins.
  • Step 7
    Pour into pan and bake 45-50 mins.or pick inserted in center comes out dry.
  • Step 8
    Cool for about 30 mins.
  • Step 9
    Drizzle glaze over cake when completely cooled.Serves 12
