sweet pecan blondie bars

Recipe by

This is a sweet bar that is best served cold. Toasting the pecans steps up the nutty flavor. It is a great base recipe for making a variety of different bars. On occasion I will add white chocolate chips, macadamia nuts or any other left over nuts. Adding a dark rum instead of vanilla is wonderful too. It's a great way to use some of your leftover baking treats. Enjoy!
