This cake is so yummy and so easy to make, everyone will think you spent hours on it!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 20oz cans crushed pineapple - undrained
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped walnuts (or pecans)
  • CREAM CHEESE ICING
  • 1 8oz packages cream cheese - softened
  • 1 stick butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup chopped walnuts (or pecans)
  • 3/4 cup sugar

How To Make swedish pineapple cake

  • Step 1
    Mix ingredients by hand in order given.
  • Step 2
    Pour into an ungreased and unfloured 9 x 13 baking pan.
  • Step 3
    Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees or until lightly browned.
  • Step 4
    For Cream Cheese Icing: Combine and beat well with mixer until smooth.
  • Step 5
    Spread on hot cake, fresh from the oven.
  • Step 6
    Refrigerate leftovers.
