My daughter Becky received this great cookbook from our friend, Mary Johnson. This was the first recipe she made out of it... and it was definite hit!

Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 can crushed pineapple with juice (20 oz. can)
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1 stick margarine, melted
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups powdered sugar
How To Make swedish pineapple cake

Step 1In a mixing bowl, combine first six ingredients, mix well.

Step 2Spray a 13" x 9" pan with vegetable spray. Pour batter into pan and bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes or until done.

Step 3For frosting, in a mixing bowl combine melted margarine, softened cream cheese and powdered sugar. Mix well then spread frosting over warm cake.
