Super easy, quick chocolate cake. There's really no wrong way to mix this. :)
You can also sub out oil for applesauce, just comes out a tad more dense, and a few more mins inn the oven.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 c
    sugar (i use natural organic)
  • 1/3 c
    cocoa powder
  • 1/2 c
    vegetable oil
  • 1 c
    cold water
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp
    almond extract
  • 2 tsp
    white vinegar

How to Make Super Moist Vegan Chocolate Cake

Step-by-Step

  1. Spray a small baking pan (8x12) with vegetable spray.
  2. Combine dry ingredients directly in a mixing bowl. You just want to blend them and break up the cocoa powder.
  3. Add in all wet ingredients, EXCEPT vinegar.
  4. Mix all together, making sure not to over mix. Doesn't take long.
  5. Once everything is nicely mixed, add in the vinegar, as your very last step.
  6. Add to your baking pan.
