My grandmother always made this cake for any get together the family had and it never lasted long. It is so simple to make and oh so delicious.

In medium pot heat the butter with the ancel coconut till all the butter is melted. While cake is still warm, poke holes in the cake with the handle of a wooden spoon. Then spoon the warm coconut mixture over the cake. Half on the bottom layer and half on the top layer. It will melt in your mouth. She always made two layer cake for this.
