grated orange peel
grated lemon peel
sifted cake flour
1Combine shortening, orange peel, and Lemon peel and mix well
2Add sugar gradually, cream till light and fluffy.
3Add eggs, 1 at a time and beat well after each.
4Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt; add to creamed mixture alternately with lemon juice, then milk, a small amount at a time.
5Beat after each addition until smooth. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Then cool.
