Very good for fall...The best biscuits to use with this recipe are the cheaper ones. I pay 33 cents a can for them.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 cans biscuits
  • 1 package cream cheese
  • 1 cup maple syrup
  • 1 cup whole walnuts
  • 1/4 cup butter (for topping)
  • 1 stick butter..(.for dipping biscuit in)

How To Make stuffed maple walnut monkey bread

  • Step 1
    Spray a bundt pan with Pam.
  • Step 2
    Dump syrup...and 1/4 c melted butter and walnuts in pan.
  • Step 3
    Cut cream cheese into enough squares per each biscuit.
  • Step 4
    Take each biscuit and flatten out...put a square of cream cheese in the middle and wrap biscuit around cheese and pinch the top.
  • Step 5
    Roll stuffed biscuit in melted butter then cinnamon/sugar Repeat until all biscuits are stuffed and into pan.
  • Step 6
    Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
  • Step 7
    When done...turn pan upside down...syrup will drizzle down the side of the cake so make sure you have a good size platter/plate to dump the cake on...
  • Step 8
    IMPORTANT....do not wait to long to dump the cake as the syrup when cool will get a thicker texture l becoming a caramel of sort and will stick to the pan.
