Ingredients
- 32 - chips ahoy chocolate cookies, divided
- 1 - 18 to 18.5 oz. package yellow or white cake mix
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
- 1/2 cup coconut
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/3 cup margarine or butter, melted
- - powdered sugar glaze, optional (your recipe)
How To Make streusel coffeecake

Step 1Coarsely chop 20 cookies; finely crush remaining 12 cookies and set them aside.

Step 2Prepare cake mix batter according to package directions; blend in sour cream. Stir in chopped cookies. Pour batter into greased and floured 13x9 inch baking pan.

Step 3Mix cookie crumbs, pecans, coconut, brown sugar and cinnamon; stir in melted margarine or butter. Sprinkle over cake batter.

Step 4Bake at 350 for 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center of cake comes out clean. Cool completely. Drizzle with your favorite powdered sugar glaze if desired. Cut into squares. Makes 24 servings.
