Ingredients
- CAKE
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 3/4 teaspoons baking soda
- 1/2 cup milk, 2%
- FILLING
- 12 large strawberries, whole
- TOPPING
- 1 package whipping cream, whipped
- 2 cups strawberries chopped
How To Make strawberry shortcake cupcakes

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line pan with liners

Step 2Combine flour,baking soda in a bowl. In another bowl cream sugar and butter until creamy then add flour and baking soda slowly. Add milk and vanilla. Beat until mixed well.

Step 3Spoon batter into prepared pan. and bake for 20 to 25 minutes. when cupcakes spring back after touching.

Step 4Remove from oven and let completely cool. About 30 minutes. You can place the cupcakes in the fridge for 15 minutes too.

Step 5While cooling cut the tops of each strawberry and wash. When cool cut the middle out of the cupcake and place the strawberry in the middle. Cut the extra cake off the middle and place cupcake top back on. Repeat for each cupcake.

Step 6Top with whipping cream and garnish chopped strawberries on top of each cupcake.
