~ strawberry shortcake ~
This cake is so easy, yet so delicious! Was a hit at my Labor Day cookout! Not a crumb left. It’s already requested for Thanksgiving! Enjoy!

Ingredients
- 1 box white cake mix + ingredients on back of box ( i used just the egg whites, not the yolk as i wanted a white cake )
- 2 quarts strawberries - sliced
- 1 - 8 ounces cream cheese ( softened )
- 1/2 cup confectioners sugar
- 8 ounces cool whip - thawed
- 1 - 13 ounce strawberry glaze
How To Make ~ strawberry shortcake ~

Step 1Bake cake according to directions, bake in 9 X 13 pan. Let cake cool completely. While your cake cools, beat cream cheese and confectioners sugar until smooth. Fold in the cool whip, until completely incorporated. Once cake is cool, spread cream cheese mixture evenly over the cake. Mix the strawberries with the glaze and evenly distribute over the cream cheese layer. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
