This was orginally a blueberry shortcake but we like the strawberry version

Ingredients

1 box duncan hines butter recipe cake mix
4 - eggs
2/3 cup milk
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 stick butter
13 ounces cool whip
8 ounces cream cheese
1 quart fresh strawberries
1/2 package strawberry glaze
2 cups sugar

How To Make strawberry shortcake

Step 1

Mix together the first 6 ingredients mix well and pour into a 9x 13 pan a deep one is the best to use. Bake at 350 for 25-30 mins remove from oven and let cool

Step 2

Topping:Mix cool whip 1 cup of sugar and cream cheese together spread over cool cake then mash up strawberries add 1/2 container of glaze and 1 cup of sugar together and pour over cake. Refrigerate
