Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1 stick butter, melted
- 3/4 cup pecans, chopped
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 large container cool whip
- 2 cups sugar
- 12 tablespoons corn starch
- 2 cups water
- 8 tablespoons strawberry jello
- 1 quart frozen strawberries

Step 1This is made in three layers. The first layer: Mix the flour, butter, and pecans and press in a 9 x 13" pan. Bake for 8 - 10 minutes or until lightly browned at 350 degrees. Let cool.

Step 2Second Layer: Mix powdered sugar, cream cheese, and Cool Whip. Spread over cooled crust. Third Layer: 2 C. sugar, cornstarch, water and strawberry jello. Boil until all of this thickens and looks clear. Add dash of salt and let cool. Add 1 quart frozen strawberries to this mixture; cool. Spread over 2nd layer. Top with large container of Cool Whip.
