- 1 box white cake mix
- 3oz boxes strawberry jello gelatin
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 cup cold water
- FOR THE TOPPING
- 1 - 8oz tub cool whip
- 1/4 cup powder sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla or almond extract
How To Make strawberry poke cake

Step 1cook cake as directed on box 13x9 cake pan

Step 2cool cake about 15 min while cooling mix jello in hot water til dissolved add cold water

Step 3with a fork poke holes about 1/2 in apart all the way down the cake pour the jello over the cake

Step 4Put in fridge to chill about 2 hours

Step 5For topping you need Mix ingredients well then cover/spread top of chilled cake For a special treat Top your cake with slices of fresh Strawberry
