Ingredients

1 box white cake mix
3oz boxes strawberry jello gelatin
1 cup boiling water
1 cup cold water
FOR THE TOPPING
1 - 8oz tub cool whip
1/4 cup powder sugar
1/4 teaspoon vanilla or almond extract

How To Make strawberry poke cake

Step 1

cook cake as directed on box 13x9 cake pan

Step 2

cool cake about 15 min while cooling mix jello in hot water til dissolved add cold water
Step 3

with a fork poke holes about 1/2 in apart all the way down the cake pour the jello over the cake
Step 4

Put in fridge to chill about 2 hours
Step 5

For topping you need Mix ingredients well then cover/spread top of chilled cake For a special treat Top your cake with slices of fresh Strawberry
