strawberry nut cake
I made this cake today for a family reuion and with the strawberry season coming I thought it would be a nice cake to take and something everyone else would not make. Also it is a pig-pick-in so I felt like we needed a fruit dessert. I found this in a cook book I bought from my sister-in-law when her church was having a fund raiser. It does not state where the cake originated so I don't know. Very easy cake to make and very good.

Ingredients
- CAKE
- 1 box white cake mix
- 1 box strawberry jello
- 1 cup oil
- 1 cup fresh strawberries chopped and sweetend in juice
- 1 cup coconut
- 1/2 cup milk
- 4 - eggs
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- FROSTING
- 1 box confectioners' sugar, i used 2 cups more and a little water
- 1 stick butter =1/2 cup
- 3/4 cup chopped strawberries in sweented juice
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
- 1/2 cup coconut
How To Make strawberry nut cake

Step 1Preheat the over 350 2-9" pans or 3-8" pans Spray the pans with bakers joy

Step 2Mix all the cake ingredients together and pour in pans. Bake until done and let completely cool

Step 3Mix the frosting ingredients and ice the layers and cake.
