Strawberry Jello Cake

This is a refreshing cake for those HOT summer days. Very light and cold.

1 box
white cake mix
1 large
strawberry jello mix
1 c
boiling water
2 large
containers of frozen sliced strawberries
1 large
frozen whipped topping, thawed


1Bake cake according to instructions. While cake is still hot punch holes and pour evenly with strawberry jello mixture: dissolved jello in hot water. Drain juice from strawberries. Add enough ice water to strawberry juice to yield 1/2 cup add to jello. Pour evenly over cake. Cool in refrigerator until jello is congealed. Fold strawberries into whipped topping and top the cake. Keep refrigerated.
