Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter, cold and cubed
- 3/4 cup half and half
- FOR FILLING:
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 4 tablespoons strawberry preserves
- FOR TOPPING:
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/2 cup flour
- 3 tablespoons butter
- FOR ICING:
- 2 ounces cream cheese
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 2 teaspoons half and half
How To Make strawberry cream cheese coffee cake

Step 1preheat oven to 350.

Step 2line cupcake pan with liners. combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar and salt.

Step 3add cubed butter. cut in the butter until it resembles small crumbs.

Step 4add the half and half, stir until just combined. divide the batter evenly amougst 12 cup cakes

Step 5make a well into the center of each, set aside. cream together cream cheese and sugar until smooth.

Step 6place a dollop of filling into each well. add a teaspoon of preserves into the center of the filling, set aside.

Step 7combine brown sugar, flour and butter. mix until crumbly. sprinkle a spoonful onto each cupcake.

Step 8bake for 20-22 minutes, until lightly brown. allow to cool.

Step 9mix together the cream cheese, powdered sugar and half and half.

Step 10once the coffee cake cupcakes are cool, drizzle on some icing.
