strawberry pie filling
18 oz
yellow cake mix
1/4 c
butter or margarine, melted
3 oz
pkg. instant banana pudding
1 can(s)
coconut milk
8 oz
pkg. cream cheese , very soft
1 c
flaked coconut

How to Make Strawberry Coconut Cake


  • 1Heat oven to 350^. Butter bottom only of 9x13-inch pan.
    Pour strawberry pie filling in bottom of pan and spread out evenly.
    Sprinkle whole box of cake mix dry over berry filling.
    Drizzle melted butter over cake mix.
    Bake in oven for 30-35 minutes.
    While cake is baking:
    In a mixer bowl combine instant pudding and coconut milk, beat until blended, add softened cream cheese and beat until very smooth. Refrigerate until cake is done and cake is completely cooled.
    Spread on completely cooled cake. Sprinkle top with coconut. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
  • 2Note:
    Try other combinations of cake mix and pie filling and puddings.
    You could also use strawberry cake mix with the above recipe; and when you serve the cake drizzle fudge sauce over each serving.
