strawberry chocolate chip bars
I have a large collection of strawberry recipes, going back 50 or moe years, since my Dad grew strawberries by the acre. This is a more recent recipe and uses Strawberry Cake mix as a stater.

Ingredients
- 1 - strawberry cake mix
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 - eggs
- 1/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 - (12 oz.) pkg. mini chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
How To Make strawberry chocolate chip bars

Step 1Mix all ingredients except nuts and chips with mixer. Once mixed, stir in nuts and chips. Grease and flour a 9 by 13 inch cake pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Remove from oven and cool. Frost with creamed cheese icing and cut in squares to serve.
