Ingredients
- 1 box 18.25- ounce white cake mix
- 15 ounces bag frozen straberries, thawed and pureed
- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup water
- STRAWBERRY CREAM CHEESE FROSTING
- 1/4 cup butter softened
- 8 ounces package cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup pureed strawberries
- 1/2 teaspoon strawberry liqueur
- 4 cups powdered sugar
How To Make strawberry cake

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease and flour 2 (9-inch) round cake pans. In a large bowl, combine cake mix, pureed strawberries, eggs, oil, and water. Beat on Med. speed for 2 min. Pour into prepared pans. Bake for 20-30 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Let cool in pans for 10 min. and remove to cool completely on wire racks.

Step 2In a large bowl, beat butter and cream cheese till creamy. Beat in 1/4 cup pureed strawberries and liqueur. Gradually add powdered sugar, beating till smooth. spread frosting between layers and on the top and sides of the cake. Garnish with sliced fresh strawberries, if desired.
