There is never any of this cake left! I sometimes make buttercream icing with mashed strawberries for an extra sweet treat. If icing is too sweet, some like to just top it with powdered sugar...but not me!

Ingredients

1 box white cake mix
1 box strawberry jello (small box)
1/2 cup strawberries
4 - eggs
1/2 cup veg. oil
1/2 cup water

How To Make strawberry cake

Step 1

Mix cake mix, and all above ingredients together until well mixed. Pour into a 9x13 baking pan, or bundt pan. Watch the time, as they can be different for different size pans. Use a toothpick to check for doneness. It should be just slightly brown on top.

Step 2

Bake at 350 degrees for 23-25 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar when COMPLETELY cooled; or make homemade buttercream icing and add mashed strawberries.
