This is so refreshing and light. Great for a summer time dessert, too. However, we love this all year long.

    large box of strawberry jello
  • 2
    cups boiling water
  • 2
    (10 oz.) bags of frozen strawberries, thawed
  • 1
    angel food cake torn into pieces (store bought)
  • 1
    (12 oz.) container of cool whip
  • ·
    nuts (chopped for top) optional

How to Make Strawberry Angel Food Cake


  1. In a large bowl, dissolve the jello in boiling water.
  2. Pour in the thawed strawberries.
  3. Beat with a mixer until foamy.
  4. Add the broken up angel food cake and fold until well mixed.
  5. Pour into a 9x13 cake pan.
  6. Cover and place in the fridge until well set.
  7. Top with Cool Whip.
  8. Sprinkle with chopped nuts. (optional)
  9. Slice, serve and enjoy!
