This recipe came from Stirring Performances, a cookbook from the Juniour League of Winston Salem, NC. I have been making it for about 20 years, and have taken it to many holiday events, with many request for the recipe. It is easy and delicious!! Great with coffee.

Ingredients
- 2 sticks butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 - eggs
- 2 cups flour unsifted
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup nuts
- 1/2 cup golden raisins
- 1 cup sour cream
- - cinnamonsugar
How To Make st timothy's coffee cake

Step 1Preheat oven to 350. Grease and flour Bundt pan.

Step 2Cream butter until light and fluffy, add sugar gradually, and continue to cream.

Step 3blend in vanilla; add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

Step 4Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Add nuts and raisins, coat well.

Step 5Add dry ingredients and sour cream alternately. Blend well.

Step 6Turn in to Bundt pan and sprinkle with cinamon sugar.

Step 7Bake for 1 hour.

Step 8Leave in pan for 1 hour before turning out. Turn out and sprinkle with more cinnamon sugar. Serve

Step 9Just a note: I have only added the golden raisins once, and I prefer to leave them out.
