Ingredients
- 3 sticks butter (room temp)
- 1/2 cup shortening, butter flavor(room temp)
- 3 cups sugar
- 6 large eggs(room temp)
- 1 tablespoon lemon extract
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 11/2 cups sprite(room temp)
- 3 cups flour
- 1/4 cup lemon zest, grated
- 1 cup confectioners' sugar
How To Make sprite pound cake

Step 1Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease and flour a 10 inch Bundt pan.

Step 2Cream Butter and Shortening until smooth.

Step 3Add Sugar and Beat until light and fluffy(2-3min)

Step 4Add Two Eggs at a time beating until the yolk disappears.

Step 5Add All Extracts and Lemon Zest

Step 6Beat in the flour alternately with the Sprite(cup), mixing just until incorporated.

Step 7Pour batter into prepared pan.

Step 8Bake in the preheated oven for 70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.

Step 9Flip cake onto your desired serving plate.

Step 10Mix 1/2 cup of sprite with confectioners sugar.

Step 11Heat glaze in the microwave for 60 seconds

Step 12Pour glaze over warm pound cake.
