spicy pumpkin nut cake
I created this cake recipe by tweaking other recipes.The first time I made it, I sent it along with my husband to our church board meeting on a cool Fall Georgia evening. He said that everyone enjoyed & bragged on it. Please know, this is NOT a very sweet cake. You may add 1/2 - 3/4 cup granulated sugar to the batter, if you prefer a sweeter cake.

Ingredients
- 1 box butter flavored cake mix
- 1 box pumpkin spice or vanilla pudding (4 oz.)
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 4 - eggs
- 1 can pumpkin (15 oz.)
- 1/4 cup water or milk
- 1 teaspoon allspice, ground
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon, ground, (may substitute equal amts. pumpkin pie spice for allspice & cinnamon
- 3/4 cup pecans, chopped
- - powdered sugar
How To Make spicy pumpkin nut cake

Step 1Mix & beat all ingredients together (except for powdered sugar.)

Step 2Pour into a greased or sprayed Bundt pan.

Step 3Bake at 350 for 55 minutes.

Step 4Cool in pan 15 minutes before removing onto cake plate.

Step 5Sprinkle desired amount of powdered sugar over cooled cake.
