Ingredients
- 1 - package yellow cake mix
- 1 - 8.5 oz can applesauce
- 1 cup canned pumpkin
- 3 - eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 cup apples peeled and finely chopped
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
- TOPPING (OPTIONAL) YOU CAN ALSO USE CREAM CHEESE FROSTING
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
How To Make spicy pumpkin cake

Step 1Preheat oven to 350. Grease and lightly flour a 13x9 pan. Combine cake mix, applesauce, pumpkin, eggs, milk, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. Beat on medium speed for about 2 mins. Fold in apples and nuts. Spread in pan. Bake for 35-40 mins. until toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely.

Step 2To make the topping; beat whipping cream, honey and cinnamon until soft peaks form. Spread over cooled cake. This cake is also good with a thin layer of cream cheese frosting or just plain cool whip as well!
