Ingredients

  • 2 c
    crushed ginger snaps
  • 1/2 c
    crushed pecans
  • 5 Tbsp
    butter, melted
  • 4 pkg
    cream cheese, room temperature-reduced fat
  • 1 1/4 c
    sugar
  • 1 can(s)
    pumpkin
  • 2 Tbsp
    pumpkin pie spices
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 4 large
    eggs
  • 1 c
    fine chopped pecans

How to Make Spiced Pumpkin Pecan Cheesecake

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 325. Mix crumbs and nuts with melted butter and press onto bottom and up about 1 inch of a 9 inch springform pan. Beat cream cheese and sugar very well together and add pumkin and spices and vanilla, adding one egg at a time until all blended well. Pour into crust then top with chopped pecans bake 1 hour and 20-30 minutes until center is almost set. Loosen the cake from rim of pan, cool before removing rim....Refrigerate 4 hours before serving to assure setting. Serve with fresh whip cream or Cool whop w/ a dust of nutmeg to decorate!
