preheat oven 350.Coat 10inch bundt pan with spray. Drain pears and chop.Combine cake mix 3/4 cup water, eggs, oil, ginger, salt. Stir until smooth. Stir in walnuts and pears. pour into prepared pan.Bake at 350 for 40 min. or until when toothpick is inserted in center comes out clean. cool in pan on wire rack 10-15 min. then invert cake. once cake has cooled put frosting on. Melt frosting in microwave on high 15 sec. stir and slowly pour over cake allowing it to drip down the sides.Refrig. cake for easier slicing.
