Ingredients
- 2 cups brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 - egg
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 - 8 ounces sour cream
- 2 cups chopped and peeled braeburn apples
- 6 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1/2 cup chopped and toasted pecans, i toast mine in the microwave for 30 seconds, stir and micro for another 30 seconds

Step 1Preheat oven 350 Grease a 9 inch pan with cooking spray

Step 2In a large bowl, beat 1 1/2 cups of brown sugar and 1/2 cup butter with an electric mixer on med speed until creamy. Beat in egg.

Step 3In small bowl, mix 2 cups of flour, baking powder, allspice and salt with a whisk. On low speed, add flour to the butter mixture, beating just until blended; fold in sour cream and apples. Spread batter into pan.

Step 4In a small bowl, mix the remaining brown sugar, and 1/2 cup of flour. Stir in 6 tbsp of butter with fork until mixture looks like fine crumbs.Stir in pecans, sprinkle crumb topping over batter.

Step 5Bake 55-60 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan on cooling rack for 1 hour. Serve slightly warm.
