- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 1/3 cup canola oil
- 3 large eggs
- ICING
- 1 can condensed milk
- 16 ounces can chocolate syrup
- 8 ounces container of koolwhip
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
How To Make southern chocolate pudding cake

Step 1CAKE: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all cake ingredients in a bowl and beat well. Pour into greased and floured 9x13 inch baking pan. Bake for 35 minutes. Do the toothpick test to make sure it is done.

Step 2ICING: Mix condensed mix and chocolate syrup in a small bowl. Pour over cake and let it soak in. Refrigerate for several hours. Spread whipped topping over cake and top with chopped pecans.
