    all purpose flour
  • 1 c
    self rising flour
  • 1
    3.4 ounce package vanilla instant pudding
  • 2 c
    (4) sticks unsalted butter softened
  • 3 c

    large eggs

    8 oz sour cream
  • 1 Tbsp
    vanilla extract

How to Make Sour Cream Pound Cake


  1. Pre-heat oven and heavily grease and flour a 10 inch tube pan.
  2. In a medium bowl sift together the all purpose flour,and pudding mix. In a large bowl beat the butter with an electric mixer for 3 min.
  3. Add the sugar and beat for 5 min. Add the eggs one at a time, then the evaporated milk.
  4. Add the flour mixture and beat until smooth. Add the sour cream and vanilla extract. And beat until smooth.
