This is the best pound cake! The combination of the three flavorings is delicious. For years I wouldn't share this recipe with anyone. It was my signature dish for funerals, potlucks, parties, etc.

Ingredients
- 3 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup vegetable shortening
- 1 cup margarine or butter
- 5 - eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 3 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon lemon extract
- 1 teaspoon butter flavoring
How To Make sour cream pound cake

Step 1Preheat over to 325.

Step 2Cream sugar with shortening and margarine.

Step 3Beat in eggs and then sour cream.

Step 4Combine flour and baking powder and add alternately with milk.

Step 5Stir in vanilla and flavorings.

Step 6Bake for 1-1/2 hours in a well-greased tube pan.
