Ingredients

  • 6 - eggs
  • 3 cups all purpose flour
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 3 sticks butter (not margerine)
  • 1/4 teaspoon soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 8 ounces sour cream

How To Make sour cream pound cake

  • Step 1
    Sift flour and soda.
  • Step 2
    Cream butter and sugar together
  • Step 3
    Add eggs 1 at a time
  • Step 4
    Slowly add flour and soda
  • Step 5
    Add sour cream and vanilla
  • Step 6
    Pour into a buttered and floured bunt pan
  • Step 7
    Bake at 350 degrees for 90 mins.
  • Step 8
    After 90 mins turn off oven for 1 hour. DO NOT OPEN DOOR before 1 hour
