Ingredients

  • 1 box butter cake mix
  • 1/3 cup puritan oil
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 cup low fat sour cream
  • 1/4 cup sugar or splendor
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 cup 4x confection sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • - few drops food coloring
  • - you can add about 1/3 of crushed walnuts, sprinkle on top of the icing of the cake.

How To Make sour cream pound cake.

  • Step 1
    IN LARGE BOWL,combined the cake mix,sour cream oil,water and eggs.
  • Step 2
    Beat at high speed for 2 minutes and pour into 2/3 into a greased pan and floured tube pan.
  • Step 3
    ADD a few drops of food coloring to remainder of mix and stir into mix already in the pan.
  • Step 4
    BAKE @ 350* for about 50 minutes or so.COOL right side up for 20 minutes .BLEND 1 cup of powder sugar and 2 tablespoon of milk. and drizzle over over Hot cake.OMG ITS SO YUMMY.ummm.*mmm.
