Ingredients

  • 2 3/4 cups sugar
  • 1 cup butter or margarine
  • 6 - eggs
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon of lemon,orange and vanilla extract

How To Make sour cream pound cake

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 325 Degrees. Cream sugar and butter together. Then add the 6 eggs one at a time and beat well after each addition.
  • Step 2
    Sift flour, salt, and baking soda together. Then add to creamed mixture a little at a time alternating with the sour cream beating after each addition.
  • Step 3
    Now add all 3 extracts and beat well. Then por into a well greased and floured tube pan and bake at the 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • Step 4
    remove from oven and cool for 15 mins before removing from pan.
