Ingredients

  • 2 3/4 c
    sugar
  • 1 c
    butter or margarine
  • 6
    eggs
  • 3 c
    flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 c
    sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp
    of lemon,orange and vanilla extract

How to Make Sour Cream Pound Cake

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 325 Degrees.
    Cream sugar and butter together. Then add the 6 eggs one at a time and beat well after each addition.
  2. Sift flour, salt, and baking soda together. Then add to creamed mixture a little at a time alternating with the sour cream beating after each addition.
  3. Now add all 3 extracts and beat well. Then por into a well greased and floured tube pan and bake at the 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  4. remove from oven and cool for 15 mins before removing from pan.
