Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups margarine
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 6 - eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla flavoring
  • 1 teaspoon lemon flavoring
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon soda
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt

How To Make sour cream pound cake

  • Step 1
    1. Preheat oven to 325. 2. Grease and flour bundt pan. 3. Cream softened butter with mixer 4. Gradually add sugar. 5. Add eggs one at a time. 6. Stir in sour cream.
  • Step 2
    7. Sift dry ingredients-flour, soda, salt. 8. Gradually add to creamed mixture. 9. Add flavoring. 10. Pour into tube pan and bake for 1 hr. 15 min.
  • Step 3
    Note: I have put cream cheese icing on this cake and it is very good. Also freezes well.
