Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c
    margarine
  • 3 c
    sugar
  • 6
    eggs
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla flavoring
  • 1 tsp
    lemon flavoring
  • 1 c
    sour cream
  • 3 c
    flour
  • 1/4 tsp
    soda
  • 1/8 tsp
    salt

How to Make Sour Cream Pound Cake

Step-by-Step

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 325.
    2. Grease and flour bundt pan.
    3. Cream softened butter with mixer
    4. Gradually add sugar.
    5. Add eggs one at a time.
    6. Stir in sour cream.
  2. 7. Sift dry ingredients-flour, soda, salt.
    8. Gradually add to creamed mixture.
    9. Add flavoring.
    10. Pour into tube pan and bake for 1 hr. 15 min.
  3. Note: I have put cream cheese icing on this cake and
    it is very good.
    Also freezes well.
